AN AUTHENTIC OUT OF THE BEATEN TRACK EXPERIENCE IN THE PAMPAS !
This circuit, unique to Buenos Aires Touring lasts two days and gives you the oportunity to experience a genuine gaucho atmosphere and get a very good grasp of Argentina's reality.
On the first day we leave Buenos Aires and we drive to a very special untouristic " Feria Gaucho " where you will witness the specificities of a cattle auction. Owners come from all over the Province to sell and buy horses, cows, sheeps ,pigs and poultry.
Along with the auction there is a display of artefacts made by craftsmen who present products especially made for people of the trade: mainly reins, stirrups , ropes and all kinds of high quality braidings. There is a great oportunity to enjoy an asado on site with the most delicious local meats and sausages of a high standard , almost impossible to find even in Buenos Aires.
At the end of the fair, we head for Martin's " estancia where we shall spend the night. Upon arrival, we shall visit the property and see how Martin manages his horses, bred for polo and racing. He will explain the situation of Argentina's agriculture and cattle production and display his skills for training young stallions .
This is a real, working estancia , not a soulless structure remodeled to receive tourists. The standards of the accomodation is good, and the atmosphere very welcoming and authentic.
We shall prepare a woodfire, weather permitting, or light up the cheminey and enjoy a drink with a "picada" ( display of cooked meats and cheeses). Dinner will follow with a traditional dish.
There is a possibility of mounting horses if you wish, in the evening or early morning.
After breakfast we start our second day, driving to San Antonio de Areco to visit this famous Pampa village , well know for his craftsmen, specialized in silver, gold, leather and weavings. It also has a mueum where you can see the remnants of an old ranch and discover the story of Ricardo Guïraldes, the author of one of the two famous novels describing the life of the Gauchos in 19th century Argentina.
The square is magnificent with his 1730's church and you can enjoy lunch in one of several tipical local " parillas"
On the way back to BUenos Aires, we take a different route and drive through Lujan to visit the unique Basilica of Lujan , the second most important pilgrimage spot in Latin America.

On this 2 day tour, we drive from Buenos Aires to a small town tipical of the Pampas where we participate in a local auction fair and take you to spend the night in a real working ranch. On the way you will see the landscape change and the atmosphere too.

Applied cancellation fees differ between services.
1. CANCELLATION OF TOURS :
For cancellations received up to 30 calendar days before the scheduled departure, the down payment will be used as a cancellation fee. For full payment , a 20% cancellation fee willl be applied.
For cancellations received 15 -29 calendar days before the scheduled departure date the down payment will be used as a cancellation fee. For full payment , a 60% cancellation fee willl be applied.
For cancellations received 7 -14 calendar days before the scheduled departure date the down payment will be used as a cancellation fee. For full payment , a 80% cancellation fee willl be applied.
For cancellations received within 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure date the down payment will be used as a cancellation fee. For full payment , a 100% cancellation fee willl be applied.
2. CANCELLATION OF TRANSFERS:
For cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure there is no cancellation fee.
For cancellations received 3 - 6 calendar days before the scheduled departure the down payment will be used as a cancellation fee. For full payment , a 50% cancellation fee willl be applied.
For cancellations received within 2 calendar days before the scheduled departure the down payment will be used as a cancellation fee. For full payment , a 100% cancellation fee willl be applied.
